  1. Thank you thank you thank you! Your review is like finding sunshine on a rainy day. I spent hours today looking for trustworthy reviews, and *finally* found yours!

The web host I use myself has raised their prices so much that I can’t recommend them to new clients. They tried to talk me into a reseller model, where I’d get paid something every time I get someone to sign up.

There’s no way I’m doing that! I’m not going to recommend a provider while I have my own skin in the game. My webdesign clients deserve an unbiased recommendation of who to use as their website hosting company.

So instead I spent hours today reading hosting company reviews, some of them paid for by the companies ā€“ which I later discovered on a discussion thread on reddit. There were also complaints about hosting companies that once were reliable but have gone downhill, and others who don’t deliver uptime, and a few who will hold your files hostage. It’s a mess.

After all this dismaying reading, I wasn’t sure how I’d ever find a company to trust based on my own criteria: less than $25/month, reliable, and accommodates wordpress.

I finally came upon YOUR benchmark test & review that is independent and transparent. Every company paid the same fee to be included in the benchmark tests. The criteria are laid out clearly. I have decided to share your test on my facebook page and a fb page for other webdesigners, so everyone else doesn’t have to chop their way through the jungle of web hosting companies.

Thank you Kevin Ohashi, founder of @reviewsignal, for this awesome research and dedicated service to website designers and users!
    This is gold!
