We’re looking for a developer-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join our team and support our platform.

Hi there, We are the folks at ZEEN101, and we build WordPress plugins that help news and magazine publishers adapt and profit from their content. Our main plugin, Leaky Paywall, is the most flexible metered paywall for WordPress. We are a small team serving publishers that are highly motivated to find new online revenue streams.

We’re looking for a developer-oriented Customer Support Specialist to join our team to help support our platform and help us develop new plugins.

You’ll be the first point of contact during the day to help publishers and developers with problems, and by answering their questions. (We have an after-hours support person to work with as well.) As part of a small team, you’ll likely get your hands into a little bit of everything.

You are…

  1. Excited to join a group whose mission it is to help publishers transform their content to the digital era. (We deal with legacy print publishers as well as digital-only news publishers.)
  2. A self-starter, capable of working remotely and independently.
  3. Someone who is curious about publishing.
  4. Able to develop plugins for WordPress and are comfortable with GitHub.

What you will be doing:

  • Assisting customers by troubleshooting technical problems and escalating to the engineering team as needed.
  • Answering pre-sales questions and other feedback from customers.
  • Documenting and optimizing our support process to improve customer satisfaction.
