The WP Business Development Consultant is responsible for driving WordPress sales across new and existing customers.  These activities include identifying top accounts and prioritizing customer touches appropriately, identifying opportunities to gain more wallet share within your customer base, creating custom sales presentations, presenting to key decision makers, and identifying potential resell and referral partners within your customer account.
This is a permanent full-time remote role with OTE of up to $125K annually
Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to a diverse customer base
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships leveraging CRM tools
  • Educate oneself with pre existing accounts and customer/business needs
  • Develop and execute strategic activities to upsell and cross sell
  • Demonstrate our products to inbound prospects
  • Understand current pain points of the business and project success
  • Be a product expert and consultant to prospects
  • Exceed revenue targets on a monthly basis
  • Meet activity and pipeline targets on a monthly basis
  • Clearly communicate with and engage prospects at all levels
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders
  • Provide consistent feedback to improve our products and services      
Skills, Competencies, and Qualifications:
  • 5+ years B2B experience
  • 2+ years of experience selling SaaS products
  • Basic WordPress familiarity
  • Track record of meeting/exceeding quota
  • Experience influencing through virtual presentations and platforms
  • Ability to quickly build rapport and take deals to closure
  • Exceptional communication skills, written and verbal
  • Consultative approach to successfully close complex sales cycles
  • Proficiency using CRM software
  • Positive-energy, strong work ethic, self-discipline and good time management skil
