Joseph Lichterman writes about The Pew…

Joseph Lichterman writes about The Pew Research Center’s annual State of the News Media report. Quick highlights:

  • Nearly half of American adults now get news from Facebook.
  • Daily newspaper circulation fell 7 percent from 2014 to 2015, and newspaper ad revenue fell 8 percent over the same period.
  • In 2015 about half of all digital advertising spending went to mobile ads.
  • Podcast growth continues (although it’s still tiny relatively speaking).

There’s a lot more to gain from Joseph’s look at the report, so it’s worth a read.
