Justin Sainton contributed a helpful post to the conversation about the WordPress economy. He makes some well-delivered points, observing that in some ways the WordPress economy has slowed down. He believes this is a correction and not a “real dip.”
Justin also mentions that the “the days of products that can do everything and prosper are over… there are too many other options.” Justin ends this post with a firm confirmation that “WordPress isn’t going anywhere.” I like his confidence.
I am also frequently reminded of Matt Mullenweg’s comment that, “what got us here won’t get us there.” It’s one of the truest statements I’ve heard, no matter where your “there” is.
