Plugins, auto updates, and the average WordPress user

Emotions ran high today with debate about whether the WordPress team should be able to force update plugins, following the vulnerability in WordPress SEO. Oddly, it was far more heat for the practice than when it was done last year for Jetpack.

I very much agree with Morten Rand-Hendriksen’s post in response to most of the criticism.
