Steve Ballmer recently announced the public launch of usafacts.org, which allows one to search and learn about how the US government spends its tax dollars. It shares a bunch of data and statistical information. I found the story of how the site came about fascinating and kudos to Ballmer for making this happen. I’d love to see more philanthropic efforts like this one.
