This is something I missed when it came out — the WordPress Foundation published its 2017 Annual Report with data about its new programs as well as meetups and WordCamps. There were 554 meetup groups with over 231,870 members who attended over 4,300 events last year. There were 128 WordCamps last year — an 11% increase from 2016 — in 48 countries with over 41,000 tickets sold.
