This is a really great idea by Devin Price. Devin decided to sort WordPress theme shops based on their Alexa rank. The first three are Elegant Themes, WooThemes, and StudioPress, none of which surprises me. But I bet you there are some sites in the top ten most of you have never heard of.

Alexa isn’t totally reliable, but it’s as good of a publicly accessible metric as any. And don’t forget this doesn’t directly relate to conversion rates or revenue, so some further down the list may make more than it’d seem, or vice versa.

Anyway, novel idea from Devin. I loved browsing the list and checking out some of the companies on it.
