Barry Kooij (pronounced “Coy”, America! I just learned it…) runs Never5, an independent plugin shop. He’s been running Never5 for a while, but went full time in July after the Woothemes acquisition to Automattic was made official.

I thought it’d be fun to catch up with Barry to see how it’s going, as he just released a big update to Related Posts for WordPress.
We talked about how his revenue is split between these four products and a couple of extensions for other products. We also talked about the difference on sales and support between RP4WP and Post Connector (flat rate plugins) versus Download Monitor, which is an extension model.
