93Digital has put together a neat visual that shows the history of WordPress dashboards and default themes. 2005 was a big year for WordPress, visually, with the 2.5 update that was heavily iterated on in 2.7. The layout from 2.7 is still with us, and the look has been iterated on many times, most notably in 2013 with the change to the dark admin. I always like stuff like this, and this visual has potential to be updated over time, as it’s not a standalone blog post.
