Automattic has a product called WordAds that, until now, was only available to bloggers on WordPress.com. Now it’s available to Jetpack enabled websites using the new AdControl plugin. If you have a site with at least 1,000 views per month and want to do simple monetization on it, it might be worth a shot. It certainly broadens Automattic’s reach for selling to advertisers, and I wonder what kind of tracking will be built in.
