WordPress Launches Page Listing Official Events

WordPress recently launched events.wordpress.org to help you find ALL events (meetups, WordCamps, State of the Word, etc.) to help you find all future events.

The listing includes columns for the event (with link), location/online, date, and time of the event. Above the listing you can search or apply filters to help you find what might interest you. It’s a great update to the .org site and a tremendous assist to the community and community team.

The WP World

If you haven’t seen it yet, TheWP.World (a site by Marcus Burnette) is a project to help community members find one another. It also reminds us that we’re not alone. There is a global (and local) community of WordPressers to network with. Originally a map with pins that Marcus created for the purpose of reaching out to other Floridians after natural disasters like hurricanes, Marcus pivoted the map from his own use to create an entire site dedicated to user profiles, events, finding jobs, and more. If you haven’t seen it yet, please take a look, and add yourself (it’s free) to the WP World Map!

WP Talk Link

Are you multilingual (or trying to be)? Then WP Talk Link is the perfect project to join! Through this site created by Javi Guembe, you can connect, talk, and learn languages with other members of the WordPress Community. I’ve been working to learn Spanish using Duolingo, but talking to real people really helps move my learning along. Hats off to Javi for such a great site. You can join for free and start speaking to others right away!
