Community Roundup Week Ending December 22

Looking Back. Looking Forward.

It was the best of times. It was the worst of times. Actually…not the worst. As years go, 2023 was much kinder than the few that preceded it.

In 2023 I was fortunate to travel to many WordCamps, as well as do some personal travel. My trusty scooter took me all over the world, and then was retired and shared to another friend for the rest of it’s scootery life. I purchased a new scooter that has a bit more horsepower (and a more comfortable seat) to take me into my 2024 travels…which will start with WordCamp Asia!

I am so grateful to everyone who supported me in any way over the past year – with selfies, donations to help others get to WordCamps, assistance with accessing spaces and places, and supporting my trip to WordCamp Europe.

2023 was pretty good.

2024 is already looking to be amazing.

Will you be at WordCamp Asia? They’ve begun announcing speakers. The venue is set. And thousands of WordPressers will convene in Taipei in March.
