Community Roundup Week Ending May 24

Rest and Recharging

Today is Memorial Day in the US. I had the day off. I had a million work-related things (at StellarWP, at Post Status, podcasts, and such) to do. And here I sit at 10:45pm doing them.

Because today I chose to relax and have some fun.

I went to Canada. Nyasha Green came to visit, and together we have explored Western New York and Niagara Falls, Canada. And we’ve had fun. And taken some awesome nature photos.

The purpose of her trip here is for us both just to visit, relax, rejuvenate, and find some peace in the chaos of work and life. That’s what friendship can do. It can help you center yourself when you can’t seem to find center by yourself.

I’m so grateful for true friendships like ours.
