Is there a Future for Business Cards
I had lunch with my daughter for mother’s day yesterday. She’s a DJ in Buffalo, NY and the person running the dining room asked her for a business card. My daughter wrote down her Instagram and website and other contact information for the woman.
And when we were alone again, she said “business cards are only for a certain ‘age’ of people.” I replied and told her that, like vinyl albums, I think business cards will make a comeback.
Which I do believe – but only in a retro kind of way. I think we’ll see them become quirky and clever, and somehow “other” than those of the past.
But I’m a certain “age” of people. So who knows? Wishful thinking maybe.
What do you think?
