David Kadavy points out that WordPress’s publish box (and more specifically, publish button) makes it too easy to accidentally publish, and compares it to Medium’s setup, which requires toggling a dropdown first. Fortunately, the WordPress publish box has a lot of internal scrutiny and attention right now, so hopefully (fingers crossed) that area will get some attention in the next few releases.
