Elementor has acquired Layers, the WordPress theme company launched in 2014 by David and Marc Perel with over 375,000 downloads worldwide as of 2019. Elementor is releasing all Layers themes for free on the Layers site. Ben Pines, CMO for Elementor, say they are “considering adding these themes to the WordPress repository.”
