Ethics in design has always been an important topic in technical fields, but lately it’s been in the public eye too. Morten Rand-Hendriksen‘s recent article, Using Ethics In Web Design is an important contribution to a renewed discussion of this topic among designers and developers.
Morten reviews the state of ethics in our industry today, and he shows how to evaluate the consequences of our work, including the type of person we become because of it. He also provides a nice checklist and additional resources. It’s obvious a great amount of time and effort went to into this article, and it’s certainly worth your time to mull it over.
