Software is terrible. That’s what John Jacoby writes about, and as you would expect it’s a well written vent that all users of the web can relate too, not to mention an audience of web professionals.
Some of the ways to make sure you are fighting against the temptation of not caring: Be meticulous, vigilant, and respectful. Contribute to open source. Make friends (a point I especially agree on). Morten Rand-Hendriksen’s talk on empathy pairs well here.
