For those possibly curious about Jekyll, a static website generator, Mike Neumegen has written an introduction to it with WordPress developers in mind over at Smashing Magazine.
I think the post does a good job touching on the pros and cons of Jekyll in comparison with WordPress’s strengths and weaknesses. The post probably won’t convert you, but that’s not it’s purpose. It’s simply a different tool, and in a few moments you’ll walk away with some knowledge of one of the more popular static website generators out there.
