GoDaddy CEO Blake Irving is retiring at the end of the year, and COO Scott Wagner is taking his place. Blake took the job in 2012 and steered GoDaddy through a massive product and cultural shift. I’m thankful for the work he did there and the team he brought on.
GoDaddy is one of the most influential (maybe the most influential) entities in our space. It’s very important that we pay attention to what they are doing within the WordPress realm. At Publish, I did an interview with their Senior Vice President of Hosting, Raghu Murthi, where we dug into more of that.
