David Bisset has a review of the first WPCampus — a conference that focused on WordPress in higher education. It appears to have been a success, and they are already starting to talk about another event in 2017. It’s nice to have another non-WordCamp conference!

This weekend marks one of the first WordCamps that have transitioned from an in-person event to a virtual one: WordCamp San Antonio. All speakers will be live streaming, and there’s a rumor that there might be a “gameshow” event to cap off each day. Tickets are free. 📺 WPCampus 2020 is making that transition too…
WPCampus Online is happening now — January 30th. This is a relatively new conference (now in its third year) for WordPress users and developers who work in higher education.
