Here’s a statistic from 10up: WordPress powers at least 1 of every 7 Webby nominees in the “General Websites” and “Website Features and Design” primary categories. I’m not surprised, and honestly thought it might be more, but I forget sometimes the the very very high end of the publishing market still is pretty pro-proprietary CMS.
