I keep forgetting to include this in the newsletter, but as WP Tavern reported a couple of weeks ago, Nick Haskins did end up selling Aesop Story Engine and related properties, to a buyer named Hyun Supul. Nick says he got “close” to his asking price of $100,000.
The purchase is yet another to go through FE International as a broker, which seems to be popular for selling WordPress and digitally based businesses. A downside seems to be that many FE International negotiated deals end up with non-disclosure agreements, which I’m unsure is part of their preferred setup, or just a nature desire for many buyers.
Either way, congrats to Nick, and I hope Hyun does indeed follow through with the promises of continuing work on Aesop.
