Let’s Encrypt recently passed 100 million certificates issued. In the 19 months since they launched, the percentage of the web using HTTPS has gone from less than 40% to nearly 58%. That’s amazing.
They will also begin supporting wildcard certificates in January, 2018, which is good news.
