Pressgram, an Instagram for WordPress Kickstarter app proposal, lost its primary backer today. Matt Mullenweg had backed the project with the highest $10,000 support level, and retracted it after learning the app would not be open source. John Saddington, who is behind Pressgram, responded to the news on the project blog.
