Matt Mullenweg was chosen to be one of a small group of 21st Heinz Awards Honorees. According to the site, the Heinz Awards “celebrates the accomplishments and spirit of the late Senator John Heinz by recognizing the extraordinary achievements of individuals in the areas of greatest importance to him.”
He also made Fortune’s 40 under 40 list — which is a nice consolation prize for exiting your twenties and no longer being eligible for 30 under 30.
