Matt Mullenweg was recently on the ChangeLog podcast where he talked about JavaScript for WordPress, REST APIs, Calypso, amongst other (mostly technical) subjects.I haven’t yet listened to this in full, and it’s long, but it’s an open source centric podcast that seems worth listening to, at least by judging the first half of it that I’ve heard. One thing he said that I haven’t heard before is that he estimates that Automattic has invested between $150 and $200 million of effort back into WordPress itself — and I’m curious how he calculates that
