WordPress.com has enabled a featured called Media Explorer that will soon make its way to Jetpack as well. It adds tabs to the left side of the media uploader which enable a discovery / search method to find tweets and Youtube videos for easy embedded. It works similarly to images that are already uploaded to a media library. The video does a nice job displaying the new functionality, which was built by Code for the People.
