He started his first blog on WordPress in 2006 and since then, he has developed themes and plugins for WordPress. Currently, he leads the development of the Meta Box and Slim SEO plugins.
What do you enjoy most about working in WordPress?
The coding foundation of WordPress is great. We can use it as a web framework to build whatever we want.
What do you love most about your Post Status membership?
The business part. I love conversations about business in Post Status between authors of plugins/themes. That gives me ideas and helps me to understand many aspects of a business, such as payments, hiring, supporting, etc.
What business/web/WordPress advice do you have for others in our industry?
If possible, please don’t create admin pages with flashy UI. A WordPress-like UI will help users undertand the WordPress and plugins/themes as a whole, and thus increase the user experience.
