UX strategist in love with WordPress. I talk too much and question everything. Writer of too many to-do lists and an eternal learner. Observant of people and their behaviour.
Lately, I have been learning the beauty of female friendship (for context, growing up my best friends were always men.)
And my favorite sites are those where I can find what I’m looking for in 2 or 3 clicks. Cause the 4th click is back to Google search.
What do you enjoy most about working in WordPress?
The community! I joined WordPress for the software, left WordPress because of its impossible documentation (back in the Codex days), rejoined because of the software and stayed because of the community. The community inspires me every day to do something to improve WordPress, which is why I got involved in improving the end-user documentation.
What do you love most about your Post Status membership?
The knowledge sharing, the dad jokes and the camaraderie – and never miss the puppy pics. 10-20 mins reading the Post Status Slack is my daily dose of “what’s happening in the WordPress world.”
What business/web/WordPress advice do you have for others in our industry?
Get to know your users and your clients sites users, especially the tech-challenged ones. The best sites and stores are those where information/products are easy to find and categorized in a simple and logical way.
