Rahul Bansal is the Founder and CEO of rtCamp β an enterprise WordPress VIP agency based in India and the USA.
Rahul first used WordPress in 2007 as a professional blogger. He quickly became a freelance WordPress developer, releasing his first WordPress plugin in 2008. The growing popularity of WordPress gave him enough freelancing work to start his WordPress agency, rtCamp, in 2009.
Over a decade, Rahul has contributed to the WordPress community, as both WordCamp speaker and organizer, polyglot, and through side projects such as EasyEngine.
His current focus is to increase WordPress penetration within large enterprises and bring WordPress courses to the formal education system.
What do you enjoy most about working in WordPress?
The community. The WordPress community is likely one of the biggest open source communities around. It is not typical for a big community like ours to accommodate significant changes such as Gutenberg.
As another example, setting up the core performance team when we are the number one CMS shows that the community is ready to adapt and not getting complacent.
What do you love most about your Post Status membership?
Slack and the newsletter. Post Status Slack makes it easy to reach out to many WordPress folks I admire. The Slack threads on many important topics are helpful for understanding often different viewpoints.
The Post Status Newsletter helps me stay on top of all things WordPress. I often come across interesting projects and blog posts that are new to me.
