On Twitter some people noticed the WooCommerce inline update message on the plugins page. Gareth Harris shows you can create inline plugin update messages for your own plugin for both single and multisite installs. Gareth notes this is useful because “WordPress doesn’t currently offer a method for plugin authors to communicate with their users regarding essential updates.”
