Poedit 2 was recently announced, with some impressive new features and enhancements after two years of development. One of it’s biggest new features that would be of interest to the WordPress community is the direct WordPress connectivity. Instead of working locally with copies of themes or plugins you can now connect to the server and make changes directly.
It also features a revamped user interface, Twig template support, and “pre-translation.” It’s an impressive move forward for translation for WordPress. If you haven’t tried Poedit yet, now is a good time to give it a shot.
