I’ve been building unique WordPress themes and plugins since WordPress 1.5 (that’s 2005). I’ve been with BuddyPress since the beginning (version 0.1). I’ve been a full-time freelance developer for over a decade.
I’ve had to wear a number of hats in the past… Application Developer, Front End Developer, Backend Programmer, Database Administrator, Project Manager in a wide variety of companies and startups. I have been working as a full-time freelancer and consultant for over a decade. Most of this time as been spent as a WordPress developer in the South Florida / Miami / Ft. Lauderdale area.
I’m particularly interested and focused on startup projects and anything WordPress/BuddyPress related. Of course, i’m always interested in building cutting edge interactive applications, especially if they use WordPress. I love to push WordPress and BuddyPress to the limit. I prefer to code with CodeIgnitor for stand-alone PHP applications.
I am also an ameuter speaker, speaking at several conferences, WordCamps, meetups, BarCamps, and Refresh Miami events. I don’t speak often, but try to at least speak a few times a year. If you can stand the sound of my voice, you can check out what podcasts i’ve been on recently.
Privileged to be a founding member of WordCamp Miami (an annual conference about WordPress that brings in over 750+ people each year) and have organized it from 2010 to 2015.
