Chris Lema has written a really great series of posts — I’ll call it a trilogy — on segmentation and pricing. It all came together today where he uses Gravity Forms as an example product and segments their user base and assigns value-based pricing for the plugin.
The whole series is really educational, and I suggest you just read it all. But the video he did on what value pricing isn’t was especially well done. It’s short, and completely worthwhile. I think a lot of folks mis-assign what value pricing is, and Chris explains it really well.
