From the Human Made blog:
I’m really excited to announce our acquisition of well known Australian WordPress agency Sennza. It’s fantastic to be able to welcome Bronson, Lachlan & Tarei to Human Made and our growing Australian agency team.
Sennza have long punched well above their weight and over the past few years have been doing fantastic work with some really great Australian clients; at Human Made they’ll be helping us push further into the Australian enterprise and big media markets as well as helping out with some of our other projects across Asia, India and the US West Coast.
This acquisition/acquihire is another in an ongoing trend of consolidation of high quality but small WordPress development agencies.
Human Made is now a team of 23 people. Just a year ago they were 14; they’ve scaled their operations to maintain growth on both the service and product sides of their business.
Tom Willmot — co-founder of Human Made — said the following to me, in addition to the blog post:
The plan is that Sennza will become Human Made Australia and will focus on Big Media & Enterprise in the Australian market. We’re now doing work all over the world, and Sennza strikes a great balance with our other Australian team members to help us further support the enterprise WordPress market that’s rapidly expanding beyond Europe and North America.
Managing enterprise (or any) clients across vastly different time zones can be a struggle. This seems like a clear win for the team at Human Made.
I met Bronson and Lachlan in San Francisco two or three years ago, and have kept up with Sennza since. They are top-notch and super passionate about their work and clients.
