Shifter is a “serverless hosting solution for WordPress.” According to the website, it “seamlessly transforms your site into a series of static HTML files,” and they aim to be both the generator and the host of the generated files.
It’s certainly an interesting approach, and appears pretty MoveableType-esque. They are currently seeking beta signups.
