Congratulations to Siobhan McKeown, who announced this morning that she’s joined Audrey Capital full time. Audrey is Matt Mullenweg’s angel investment company. She’ll work on the docs project as well as a history of WordPress, which is really exciting. I can’t imagine anyone better for such a position.
Wordfence has a created a whitepaper aimed at developers and security researchers to share how coding flaws can introduce some of the most common and significant WordPress vulnerabilities — and how to prevent them. 🔒

1) Ensure all search results are relevant.
2) Standardize a Premium product upsell interface.
3) Make it possible to show other products by the same author.
Managed WordPress hosting provider FlyWheel has raised a $4 million Series A round. They last raised $1.2 million over a year ago. The TechCrunch article states that FlyWheel has about 40,000 paying customers.
The Joel Test has largely stood the test of time, yet there isn’t a WordPress specific version to help WordPress developers judge job opportunities. The Jorbin Test is the Joel Test, updated for the WordPress engineers of today.
For too long, companies have been automating customer service, but that depersonalises the relationship. It’s time to make customer service human again.
