Take a trip down memory lane (assuming you are actually old enough) to “web 1.0”, the very early days of the web… it was a terrifying and in some ways glorious time. Really though, I laughed throughout while reading this.
The author, Richard Mitton, makes an interesting statement: “In some ways I suppose the WordPress default themes may be the best thing to ever happen to web design. I never used to care for them much, but I see now that they’ve done a wonderful job of damage limitation.”
