The new Google Fonts page is wonderful. You can decide whether you want the preview to be in paragraph form, display, set custom text and size, and apply it across the grid of fonts you’re viewing.
It’s so, so, so much better — honestly, I’m way more likely to actually use Google hosted fonts now. Just spending five minutes on the new site caused me to find typefaces I never knew about before. Other foundries should take note.
