The good fellas over at WP Shout are doing a survey: they want to know what’s on your WordPress wishlist.
You can describe three features you’d like to see in WordPress. I did this last night, and I’m always moody about things like this. However, when I was thinking about it, I was mostly thinking about the way the WP API will be able to enhance the publishing experience, and I catered my answers around that.
Namely, I look forward to the WP admin being built on top of the API. I’d also like to see some standards and best practice for theming independent of the current WordPress way, that decouples the front-end — again using the WP API.
