Nice to see Brian Coords getting involved with the WP Notifications feature plugin project — otherwise known as WP-Notify (Github). He’s calling for testing and feedback on the proof-of-concept at this point. You can click this link and immediately spin up a test environment with the plugin installed at InstaWP — thanks to Ross Wintle for setting that up.
Brian also had a nice chat with Jonathan Bossenger about the history of this project and the value of contributing WordPress. He mentions this great guide over at Kinsta from Allie Nimmons explaining how to get started as a contributor.
