With WordPress 4.7 nearing release, the information posts for new features are showing up. For example, Jeremy Felt shared with us about the latest tweaks to multisite. Pascal Bichler also recently shared the new Post Type labels feature and Post Type templates functionality in 4.7.
Also a nice addition to this release: a new function wp_list_sort() that makes it easy to sort object or array lists.
