WooCommerce 3.0 has been on the scene for a short time, and Codeable has a nice guide to successfully upgrading to it. Spyros Vlachopoulos covers a variety of the new features, including the CRUD commands and WP-CLI, but more importantly, he covers some common issues they’ve seen after upgrading.
This release of WooCommerce is the first under the SemVer system, and I’ve still not upgraded, because I’m concerned about extension support. I am not sure exactly how much of a support burden companies using WooCommerce are seeing, but I’m guessing it’s still pretty high. There should be some good lessons learned from this experience, which I’ll try to dig into.
