Today, WordPress 4.3 hit Release Candidate 1, and there was also a rare release candidate for a minor point release, with 4.2.4 RC 1.
WordPress 4.2.3 caused a couple of strange issues with comments inside inline scripts, and within shortcodes inside angle brackets. The release candidate is to make sure it’s now working as expected, so if you’ve been affected be sure to test.
WordPress 4.3 has a couple of planned weeks of RC, so get your bugs in now if you find them so they can be fixed before release.
Gary Pendergast also went behind the scenes on 4.2.3 and some of the issues at play, in a recent interview with Jeff Chandler on WP Tavern.
