WordPress.com Stats now has an “Insights” tab that’s quite Github-ish.
The tab shows a graph of post activity (though only of posts it seems, and not CPTs), most popular posting day, and most popular posting hour for a particular site.
It’s nice to see further enhancements to these Stats but I’d really just love for Jetpack to get some of the existing features. For instance, Jetpack doesn’t even show uniques versus pageviews, which WordPress.com has showed for ages.
A good Google Analytics dashboard (especially including real-time data) for the WordPress admin could make WordPress.com Stats completely irrelevant, if anyone needs a product idea.
