Austin Gunter, of WP Engine, attempts to quell concerns from some who think WordPress may not be a mature platform. He gives a very level headed response to some common criticisms. While I think there is room for WordPress to mature more for enterprise applications, I completely agree with what he's said here.
BuddyPress 9.0 “Mico” was released a day before WordPress 5.8 with 10 new blocks. It was a short time frame development cycle, so kudos to the team for pulling it off. 🙌 I’m excited to see the block editor used in BuddyPress, which should allow for more flexible design choices.
