Wired has released their first article that uses a story building tool. It’s really beautifully done. The tool is based on The Theme Foundry’s Make page builder. The choice of tool makes sense; Wired’s lead developer is Zack Tollman, the original developer of Make.
Zack tells me that they didn’t have to make too many changes to the original builder. They added a couple of sections and removed the ones they didn’t have a need for, but otherwise it was largely out of the box.
It’s a pretty great implementation and I like to see a tool like that(which was created for landing pages) be adapted to posts. People are doing so many neat things with WordPress content.
